Beginning in 1991, partners Jonathan King and Jim Stott combined their strong interests in horticulture and cooking to create their own unique recipes for jams, sauces, mustards, oils and more using fresh, local produce. Working from home, they established themselves at local farmer’s markets, fairs and festivals with their flavorful line of distinctive and high quality products under the name of Stonewall Kitchen. Encouraged by steady sales Jonathan and Jim continued to develop recipes and expand their line of distinctive and delicious products. Today, Stonewall Kitchen has 11 retail company stores along the east coast, thriving catalog and web divisions, and a staff growing into the hundreds.
